Peter Dutton has rubbished claims that climate change is the biggest threat to the Pacific and instead argued China’s aggressive military expansion poses a risk to peace in the region.
Speaking from Washington DC, Mr Dutton said he welcomed recent dialogue between Beijing and Canberra with the Albanese government but urged for them to hold China to account on issues such as human rights abuses and its military.
