Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham says it’s concerning to see enhanced military escalation by China in response to US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.
“Australia’s policy position remains a bipartisan one of support for a One China policy but also very clearly
a view there should be no unliteral changes to the status quo in relation to Taiwan,” he told Sky News Australia.
