The genesis of Chloë Sevigny is the stuff of fashion folklore.

That is not the basis of the ye olde Chopova Lowena tale, but it would make for a compelling narrative, perhaps with a searing and quite deft analysis of post-clickbait consumerism. “I want to give myself to you and your fantasy and whatever you want to create,” Sevigny said of becoming the brand’s fall 2023 figurehead. “I am your model, your piece of clay; mold me into whatever.
