The award-winning event, which spanned 35 venues with 280 appearances was a huge success for the town
Chorley Live returned at the weekend with hundreds of people turning out to enjoy the event. .
The town centre saw a new lease of life as residents from the area and visitors came flooding in to see two nights of entertainment held on Friday and Saturday. The event is organised by Chorley Council in partnership with Creative Network.Chorley Live returned for 2022 after being cancelled with an interim online event called ‘Living Room Live’ taking place during Covid.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Alistair Bradley said: “We are delighted to have been able to return Chorley Live back to the town centre in full force this year.“The success of the event is always phenomenal but this year Chorley visitors really outdid themselves. We can’t wait for next year." Wristbands were on sale for just £5 each , which gave visitors access to all venues, all weekend to see live performances from local artists and acts. Chorley Council are now asking for feedback following the event to see how they can make it even bigger and better in the future.
