Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who is running for president in 2024, directed his criticism to former President Donald Trump when asked about a poll showing a lack of support for Christie's presidential run.
Christie appeared on Fox News Sunday and was asked about a poll showing 70% of Republicans saying they would not consider voting for the former governor. When asked if he was running just to serve as a spoiler for Trump, Christie said he is"in this to win" and that what people want"is the truth.
Christie also took issue with Trump's recent statement that the former president could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, saying that Trump would just do"what he normally does, which is bend down to Vladimir Putin, and get him whatever he wants."
