Liberal MP Keith Wolahan delivered a sharp rebuke to Chris Kenny after the Sky News host attacked the Liberal's decision to oppose the Voice to Parliament as 'indefensible'.

The Sky News host began his show on Wednesday night with a blistering editorial slamming the Liberal Party’s decision as “inconsistent and indefensible.”Wednesday the Liberals would not support the constitutionally enshrined Voice to Parliament Labor has proposed.

“That is, recognise indigenous Australians in the constitution the way that indigenous people, after years of consultation, have said they want to be recognised. And if the Liberal’s opposition leads to it failing, the country will be left “hopelessly divided over the central national project of reconciliation” - a project that would be “set back for a generation.”

“And in order for that to happen we have to look back and say that Australians were fully informed. And that means that people like me and people like Peter Dutton asked proper questions, and those questions should be answered.”
