An explosive session of Lynnsanity ends six runs short of another BBL century as the Brisbane Heat star puts the Sydney Sixers to the sword.
Chris Lynn has fallen one shot short of the Big Bash League's fastest century, dismissed by a catch right on the boundary as he launched what would have been a record-breaking six against the Sydney Sixers.
Lynn was struggling with a rib injury, but teed off against the Sixers to the tune of 94 runs off 35 balls as he came painfully short of breaking the 39-ball record held by Perth Scorchers slogger Craig Simmons. He dispatched three of the four balls leading up to his dismissal over the rope, but went for one too many in trying to reach three figures, holing out to Sean Abbott at long-on off the bowling of Ben Manenti.
