Here's why Chris Olave is primed for a MONSTER game in London this weekend. Saints | SaintsNation | MINvsNO
Friday. Thomas has been dealing with a toe injury that held him out of practice all week long.
Thomas’ absence catapults every Saints receiver into an even larger role. Olave should spearhead New Orleans’ pass-catching unit as a result. We expect Olave’s breakout to continue taking center stage against the Vikings. The returning Thomas has been excellent for the Saints. Through three contests, Thomas has recorded 16 receptions for 171 receiving yards and a team-high three touchdowns. Thomas has been efficient, hauling in 72.2% of his targets. He trails Olave by just one catch for the team lead. Thomas is averaging 7.3 targets per contest. That’s a lot of new-found targets that will be available against the Vikings on Sunday. Olave should be the biggest benefactor.Thomas in the lineup.
It’s worth acknowledging that New Orleans’ quarterback situation looms large heading into Sunday. Starting signal-caller
