Reo Hatate was one of Celtic's best players last season but he is nowhere to be seen at present.
The Japanese international was by far and away one of Celtic's best players last season as the Hoops stormed to a treble, registering 20 goals and assists combined in just 45 games as Ange Postecoglou's side recorded domestic dominance. Alongside Callum McGregor, Matt O'Riley and the now-retired Aaron Mooy, the all-action midfielder was linked with the likes of Tottenham and Brighton over the summer in what was a well-deserved move.

I’ve had my say on Hatate’s situation through the opening couple of weeks of the season. "We know it wasn’t smooth sailing. We know the Viaplay Cup exit to Kilmarnock was a dull one for Celtic and so were the dropped points at home to St Johnstone. Rodgers spoke about a lack of creativity and craft after those results and, my goodness, if there are two attributes Hatate has it is those.
