The Ibrox playmaker had branded Sutton an 'attention seeker' this week as their feud rumbles on.
Chris Sutton has unleashed on Todd Cantwell as he branded the Rangers star "away with the fairies" after he let rip on the pundit this week.
Speaking on the 'It's Kicking Off' podcast, Sutton was quizzed on Cantwell's comments. He responded: “You know, he’s had another sort of pop this week. The thing I don’t understand, I genuinely don’t understand, is that there is that old adage in football of ‘do your talking on the pitch’. "So listen, my role when I’m south of the border is to talk about English teams. I’ve had a role north of the border for a decade, and you know what? Pundits talk about Scottish teams, so that’s why I talk about Todd Cantwell and Rangers, alongside Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs - because that is my job. I seriously don't know why he is getting involved in these comebacks all the time.
