Nationals MP Keith Pitt says his colleague George Christensen has referred himself to the independent parliamentary expenses watchdog after claims he misused taxpayer funds. Allegations have emerged that Mr Christensen charged taxpayers $3,000 to connect with flights to the Philippines.
