The family of assault victim Danny Hodgson have been given ‘the most perfect gift’ after the soccer player was able to briefly leave hospital for Christmas.
Mr Hodgson, 25, was enjoying a night out on September 5 when he was punched without warning outside Perth train station, causing him to fall backward and hit his head on the ground.
His family on Friday shared the great news of his home visit and thanked the community for their support. Danny Hodgson will leave hospital to spend Christmas with his family almost four months after he was assaulted.
