It may not be a white Christmas for you, but that could be a good thing.
A storm will bring rain and snow to the Pacific Northwest, potentially leading to travel slowdowns.
"Overall, travel across the nation looks generally good," AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Walker said. It looks to be much better than travel was around Thanksgiving, he said, and there are no powerhouse storms forecast. Coastal ranges and the Cascade foothills below snow level could receive up to 8 inches of rain through Saturday. Lower elevations might pick up 2 to 5 inches of rain, Dolce said.
A slow-moving storm is forecast to soak parts of the Southeast, including Florida, by this weekend, the Weather Channel said.
