A Perth man who claimed his partner was accidentally stabbed by a falling knife has been jailed for life over her murder. Christopher Thomas Dimer killed Shauna Lee Rose Headland during an argument at a family member’s home in Nollamara in 2022.
Christopher Thomas Dimer jailed over Nollamara murder. The court heard Dimer, a serial domestic violence offender, had thrown scissors at his partner of four years, punched her in the face and stabbed her in the neck with a knife. Headland, 26, died from her injuries. Dimer — who had claimed she was impaled by a knife after it fell from a window frame where it was being used to hold up a curtain — was found guilty of murder by a WA Supreme Court in July.
