A Roman Catholic church in Louisiana gave a community-wide blessing by dumping holy water on an entire town using a crop duster.
Parishioners brought the water from their homes to the airstrip to be blessed by the Rev. Matthew Barzare.Christmas Eve shopping hours:The Facebook post had been shared nearly 600 times as of Tuesday, with many commenters requesting visits from the blessed crop dusters.
“A happy and blessed Christmas to everyone from St. Anne Church and parishioners!” the church concluded in the Facebook post. Cow Island is an unincorporated community in Vermilion Parish approximately 38 miles south of Lafayette.
