A disturbing video posted on social media after a teenager plunged to his death from a Gold Coast balcony could hold vital clues in a murder investigation. 9News

Four were semi-conscious after taking prescription drugs, which police believe were stolen from Gold Coast chemist shops last week.

"During the course of that the victim has attempted to escape and has gone over the balcony and died," Det. Supt Smith said.Mr English's family has issued a statement asking for privacy.
