He said City Council will hear about the resources that ACS needs so that during budget time, councilmembers can “fire on all cylinders.

“There are a lot of things that we need to do comprehensively. Some of them to just make sure that we have proper ACS services happening in the city, but also to just make sure we close policy gaps that could prevent an incident from happening in the future,” he said. On Feb. 24, dogs attacked and killed 81-year-old Ramon Najera in the 2800 block of Depla Street, off Highway 90 and Cupples Road. The dogs had escaped another home and attacked Najera and his wife, who were visiting a home in the neighborhood, according to San Antonio police.
