TWU National Assistant Secretary Nick McIntosh claims waste management company Cleanaway is “intent on attacking” Sydney’s essential waste disposal workers.
“They can’t let that stand, and that’s why they’ve got no choice but to have this sixth round of industrial action,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Thus far, they have refused to meet with any of these workers or their representatives; they’ve only met with the company – that’s not good enough,” he said.
