The release date window has reportedly been set for Civil War, a new epic action movie directed by Alex Garland.
, Garland described the film as a “companion piece to Men in some ways.” He said Civil War is “set at an indeterminate point in the future – just far enough ahead for me to add a conceit.” The film was also described as “a sci-fi allegory for our currently polarised predicament.”
Garland also said this will likely be the last movie he directs, considering returning to his earlier career of writing screenplays, at least for a while.
