What role might the cost-of-living crisis play? Most importantly, what are the Government’s solutions?

In July 2021, the Home Office announced it would unveil an updated hate crime strategy “this year”, but it has not yet appeared. So, I contacted the department asking when we should expect it, whether extra funding is being considered, and what else the Government is going to do to combat crimes of hatred. A Home Office press officer rang me, asking what I was going to be writing about the hate crime statistics.
