A pre-inquest review into the death of Thomas Kingston has returned to the Gloucestershire Coroner’s Court and revealed new details about the late royal’s final hours.
An inquest into the death of a royal family member will look at whether his"state of mind was affected by medication", a pre-inquest review hearing has revealed.
During the latest pre-inquest review hearing on Wednesday, Martin Porter KC told the court that the focus of the inquest should examine whether Mr Kingston’s state of mind had been “affected by medication”. "The inquiry shouldn't be limited to the very final cause of death, which is clear and obvious," he said, as reported by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper.
Mr Kingston married Lady Gabriella in a major royal wedding at Windsor chapel in 2019 attended by the entire royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
