Sky News host Chris Kenny says the “doom and gloom” and “apocalyptic foreboding” from “Greta Thunberg and other climate catastrophists is spreading”.
Mr Kenny said “celebrating our successes and encouraging optimism is out of fashion” after President Trump called on world leaders to "reject" the "perennial prophets of doom” at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Climate activist Greta Thunberg also spoke, calling on all business and government leaders to forget attempting to achieve "net" zero emissions and to aggressively seek "real" zero emissions. Ms Kenny said “the zeitgeist now is all about the end of the world,” and “apparently we should all be alarmed, worried, nervous about the fate of the world”.
