Woke up feeling good. Had seven hours and 39 minutes of sleep last night but my heart rate was elevated. This was most likely from the anxiety I’m feeling about the upcoming funeral. I had an early morning exercise session with my trainer which helped a bit. Tonight I left for New York on a 7:30 p.m. flight that got delayed. I didn’t end up reaching my hotel until 11 p.m. I forgot to charge my Oura Ring so no metrics this weekend.

Awake at 7 a.m. to prepare for wake and funeral today. The day’s events started at 9 a.m. and ended at 10:30 p.m. Mentally and emotionally exhausting day. We didn’t get back to our hotel room until 11:30 p.m. Abandoned all sleep routines except cooling the room and just crawled into bed and hoped for the best.Had to wake up at 5 a.m. to catch a morning flight home. Made it home by 11 a.m. and felt exhausted with a slight headache. Decided to go do a infrared sauna session for 45 minutes.
