With the Western Conference standings so tight, the team’s playoff scenario is fluid going into Saturday’s home game against Portland and Sunday’s finale in Phoenix.
PLAYA VISTA — With two regular-season games left, the Clippers have little idea when they will start the postseason, whom they might play or even where they will be for the first tipoff.
“It’s just tough preparing for four or five different teams, but it is what it is,” Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said. “We just got to make sure we take care of our business and put ourselves in a position where we can try and get a week off and understand who we are playing., will be looking to control their own future with victories in the last two games.
This season, the Clippers will start the postseason without All-Star Paul George, who has been out since March 23 because of a knee injury.
