The government and the Coalition continue to bandy around accusations of division over the Voice to Parliament after the Greens split on the issue.

“I think it is an indicator of some of the pressures and tensions and the Prime Minister needs to manage this carefully,” Mr Fletcher told Sky News Australia. Despite the Greens throwing its support behind the Voice, the Coalition has still raised ongoing reservations about the body’s makeup. “I think the absence of detail for political reasons and the bringing forward of the question …. for political reasons, I think the prime minister is very risky in his approach here,” Mr Dutton said on Tuesday.

“There’s plenty of information out there already and more information will be provided as we get closer to the referendum,” Mr Shorten told Sky News Australia on Tuesday.
