COCA-COLA has asked customers to return some of its Christmas multipacks over health fears. The product recall applies to Coke Zero multipacks with Christmas-related cardboard. These are multipacks…
These multipacks can be purchased at multiple locations and a product recall notice will be displayed in all stores that sell them.
The Food Standards Agency, which posted the issue, has not said if customers can get a refund from stores directly.Or, they may allow you to swap the multipack for another Coke Zero multipack., your rights to get a refund depends on whether the fault makes the product unsafe. Sometimes the business will repair the product, for example by fitting a new part. But this should be done for you.
If a fault makes a product unsafe to use — and it's difficult to correct the fault — the Consumer Guarantees Act says you might have the right to reject the product and claim a replacement or a refund.
