Rumero Campbell has now been jailed

A drug dealer who ran two phone lines through which cocaine was sold in Cheshire has been jailed. Police discovered Rumero Campbell, 19, was behind two phone numbers being used by drug users in Chester.

At around 4:30pm on Tuesday April, officers on patrol were alerted to a black BMW taxi, previously linked to Campbell, on the A550 near Chester. It was stopped and Campbell was arrested. A 'graft phone' - a term used by police to describe a phone used in the supply of drugs, was also recovered. He was charged and pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs . Yesterday he was sentenced to three years and six months in prison by a judge at Chester Crown Court.

“Campbell thought he had the upper hand by using unregistered ‘burner’ phones to sell illegal drugs in Chester, however, this result proves that no matter how under the radar you think you may be, we are always watching.
