Residents of some Queensland regions have shivered their coldest July day in 30 years, and Tuesday’s forecast will be cold comfort.

“Biloela had its coldest maximum day on record, with 11 degrees. Our 30 years of data shows the last lowest maximum day, 12 degrees, was on the 21st of June, 2007. She said a cloud band and rainfall “did not help the temperatures get any warmer” at several locations down the east coast of the state.Reid said another cold day was expected on Tuesday, with the rain in the south-east adding an extra element.
