The perfect place to wait out World War Three: Cold War nuclear bunker could be yours
The structure has 'open countryside views' across Pontefract, West Yorkshire and 'road frontage and access'. Although built to resist a nuclear attack, the bunker is currently unsafe to enter and is called 'very primitive'.
The subterranean accommodation is 20ft underground and kitted with room for a chemical toilet and chairs. With no water, gas or electricity, the £18,000 bunker lacks all the creature comforts of 21st century life. The structure is one of the few remaining Cold War bunkers in the UK, with most having closed in 1991
