"On and off over the next week, we'll see several more reinforcing cold fronts. And it looks like we'll see the next front stall in the area tonight," said Keith White, a meteorologist for the NWS.Crime in San Antonio is up. The city is considering an East Side councilman’s plan to reduce it. The north and northeasterly winds that will accompany the cold fronts will keep the warm Gulf air at bay, leading to a fall in temps after a warm start to December, according to White. The meteorologist also noted that cloud cover will also be a factor in the lower temps.
Friday's high is expected to hit 61, followed by 52 and 55 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The low overnight Saturday into Sunday morning is predicted to be 37 in San Antonio, but areas north of Boerne in the Hill Country could experience a freeze.
