A Coles supermarket truck believed to be carrying a load of lettuce has exploded into flames after a collision with a four-wheel drive on the Sunshine Coast. 7NEWS
The two vehicles collided on the Bruce Highway on Wednesday night, and it’s understood the car was pinned underneath the Coles truck for nearly a kilometre before both vehicles caught fire.Watch Sunrise on Channel 7 and stream it for free onThe truck driver stopped and raced to pull a 20-year-old woman from the wreckage with the help of a witness.
“He dragged her for at least 700m to 800m before pulling over, because he didn’t realise he had anything behind him,” witness Anthony Puleo told 7NEWS.
