Panthers star Nathan Cleary has backed the Voice in a video posted to social media hours after he led Penrith to victory over the Brisbane Broncos.
Clive Churchill medallist Nathan Cleary has declared his support for the Voice, just hours after the Penrith star’s grand final win on Sunday night.
Ah-See said he went out to the club to give an educational presentation on the Voice as part of an effort to stop misinformation surrounding the campaign, which was also given to multiple other Sydney clubs.TikTok/@royahsee “Nathan asked after the presentation in front of the whole playing group and the Panthers staff, what he could do to highlight the issue,” he said.Roy Ah-See former chairperson of NSW Aboriginal Land Council and co-chair of the Uluru Leadership Dialogue.“He said I’ll do anything. He said he wanted to live in a better country which was inclusive for everyone, and he felt strong about it.”
“This young man, I’m just so proud of him. They are leaders in their space and what they do,” he said.
