BREAKING: The final total of Comic Relief 2023 has been revealed 🥳
Appearing from Salford’s MediaCity on BBC One, the annual fundraising extravaganza boasted a whole host of sketches and performances for good causes, having raised £19million alone at the half-way point.
Viewers were astounded by the revival, as the actor read out a CBeebies bedtime story in his ratty clobber.Kylie Minogue joined this year’s fundraiser for a Ghosts sketch The singer and her live agent, played by Tanya Moodie, arrived at haunted Button House to see if it is a suitable concert venue, shocking the supernatural inhabitants.
The emotional 45-year-old, who completed the Gethin Keeps Dancing challenge, said: ‘Everything is stinging, I haven’t been able to touch my toes since 2am. It’s been an epic effort. What really kept us going was the donations.’Chat show host Graham Norton, Eurovision winner Lulu, and 2022 Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder made up the judging panel for the sketch – which saw them FaceTime Abba singer and Eurovision winner Bjorn Ulvaeus.
