The Commonwealth Bank will begin slugging many of its customers $3 for assisted cash withdrawals from next year when it closes their accounts and moves them on to new products. The major bank has revealed it will be closing and moving customers from their Complete Access accounts to Smart Access accounts on January 6.

“There’s no need for you to do anything, as your Complete Access accounts will automatically change to Smart Access accounts. We’ll notify you before switching your account,” CommBank said.
