A Cumberland County community is canceling its annual Halloween parade.
Mechanicsburg will not be holding the event this year, according to the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce.The Halloween parade was called off because of construction projects that are happening along the parade route and near the staging area.Officials said they are trying to keep safety in mind and that they will start preparing for next year's parade.The Halloween parade was called off because of construction projects that are happening along the parade route and near the staging area.
