An outpouring of tributes continues for Frank Connell, a Lincoln barber and prolific fundraiser, who sadly passed away over the weekend.
His barbershop window is now embellished with tribute notes, while Lincolnite readers have shared their fond memories of Frank.Jason Corrigan said: “Certainly was the people’s person and the kindest man you’ll ever meet. Had time for everybody and helped so many.” Chris Illsley said: “He should be awarded a posthumous Lincoln Civic Award with Joe Cooke for what they have raised and done for Lincoln. Let’s make this happen.”Matt Bean said: “A true Lincoln legend. Always a fun Saturday getting your hair cut with his entertaining stories. Lucky to catch him at Easter for a quick hello in passing. Will be sadly missed.”
