An Australian citizen living in Israel has described how her family has been forced to run to bomb shelters as sirens ring out across the city following Hamas’ brutal incursion into the country.
Emily Gian is currently living with her husband and children in the town of Yehud, located in the central district of Israel with a population of 30,000 people.
“When I hear my husband on the phone, every single phone call is just the same voice … that very low hushed tone. Everybody is just so shocked,” she said.
