People lacking permanent housing in the Scottish capital Edinburgh have been sent by taxi to other cities ahead of the star's concerts.
The housing charity Homeless Scotland said several homeless people from Edinburgh had been sent by taxi to the Scottish cities Aberdeen and Glasgow amid the shortage in housing, the BBC reports.
Homeless Scotland said the move was "a blatant injustice" for people without a permanent home to be "in direct competition" with tourists. The city is expected to be flooded by hundreds of thousands of fans and hotel rooms and other accommodation is in short supply. Homeless Scotland said instead of people classified as homeless in Edinburgh being offered temporary accommodation there, they were being sent outside the city.Taylor Swift is performing in three concerts in the Scottish city of Edinburgh next month. But there is no evidence of homeless people being asked to leave accommodation where they are currently staying.
