There were also six cases linked to LaManna supermarket in Essendon, 12 infections linked to Somerville Meats, 13 cases linked to Glendale aged care facility in Werribee and two cases linked to Japara Central Park Aged Care Home in Windsor.The outbreak total at Al-Taqwa College now sits at 144."That's an enormous amount of testing," Mr Andrews said.
"Please keep coming forward if you have even in mildest symptoms. It lets us know where the problem is, how we can deal with it, how we can trace and provide the best public health response."There are 72 Victorians in hospital, including 17 patients in intensive care. There are 1612 active cases of COVID-19 across the state.
"As a reflection of the actions that people took a week or so ago, it's probably a good sign this is exactly what happens when people are following the stay-at-home directions, isolating and testing appropriately, and minimising their contact with others," he said. Mental health service Orygen has launched a social therapy platform which will be available to Melburnians amid the COVID-19 pandemic, including residents in the Flemington and North Melbourne towers.
