The popularity of electric vehicles is growing across New South Wales, but there are still some concerns about where and how people can charge their batteries.

The state government is aiming to increase sales of EVs by 50 per cent by 2030-31 using its electric vehicle strategy.

Currently, there are 50 EV charging stations across New South Wales, but there will soon be one every 100 kilometres as part of the largest charging network in Australia. “Really enabling and connecting those love journeys from the city to our regions,” NRMA CEO Emma Harrington said.
