Conor Benn reportedly preparing to sue British Boxing Board £3.5million over drugs test situation
Conor Benn is reportedly preparing to launch a lawsuit against the British Boxing Board of Control over their handling of the situation surrounding his positive drugs tests.
Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed his anger and frustration over how long the BBBofC took to make a decision about the Eubank Jr fight.Advertisement Furthermore, on October 26, the BBBofC released a statement announcing that Benn had opted not to renew his licence with them prior to a hearing that day at which the board upheld misconduct allegations against him.
The BBBofC are adamant that they do have the right to investigate these tests as Benn was licenced by them at the time.
