Acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack has backed Conservative Nationals MP George Christensen, labelling him 'the voice of the north', despite calls for the Queensland politician to be reigned in over his social media activity. AusPol 9News

Mr Christensen has previously shared Facebook posts claiming "vote fraud" and "dodgy extra votes" in the US election.
