The Wagner mercenary group bolstered their ranks by recruiting convicts from Russian prisons to fight in Ukraine The recruitment of Kevorkyan, along with around 150 other prisoners reportedly took place on August 31, 2022, following a visit to his prison by Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin. One of his alleged victims is 19-year-old Tatyana Mostyko, who performs as a children’s entertainer in the area.. ‘When she came back from a job, she’d laugh about what they’d been doing, how she amused them.
