A teenager convicted over the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder within a year of his release from custody. The 19-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is back behind bars as one of three men accused of trying to kill a 21-year-old man in Zillmere in Brisbane ’s north.
Another boy, who was identified as inflicting the fatal wound upon Angus, was found guilty of murder and sentenced to a nine-year detention order with release after serving 60 per cent of the term. On Monday, the 19-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old man allegedly forced entry into a home in Zillmere when a gun was allegedly fire “a number of times” at the 21-year-old victim, according to police. The trio then allegedly fled in a car. No one was injured in the incident.
