New South Wales Police have issued a public appeal for information as they continue to investigate a shooting in Western Sydney last year which left one man in a critical condition.

CCTV footage of two men walking through a carpark has been released by NSW Police as an investigation continues into a shooting in a Western Sydney suburb last year.

Emergency crews were called to Niland Crescent in the suburb of Blackett on September 13 after receiving reports a man had been shot.Police have issued a public appeal over the shooting. Picture: NSW Police Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before he was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.Police established a crime scene shortly after and began inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Tiarri.

Detectives on Wednesday released CCTV vision of two males they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.A grey Ford Ranger also appears in the footage. Anyone with information which may assist investigators is being urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
