Coronation Street's Amy Barlow star Elle Mulvaney has sweetly said she is "so proud" of her Waterloo Road star boyfriend Liam Scholes.

Sharing a video of the heartbreaking scene on his Instagram, Liam wrote: "What can I say… @waterlooroad being given the opportunity to combine both of my loves for acting and music was a fever dream for me. Liam's girlfriend Elle was quick to lead the comments as she sweetly wrote: "Smashed it. proud of you" with a heart emoji.

Elle and Liam met on Coronation Street in 2021, where Liam took on the role of Eli Higginson for six episodes. Elle has played Amy on the cobbles since 2010.
