Coronation Street star Sacha Parkinson who is best known for her role as Sian Powers is engaged to her long-term boyfriend following a romantic proposal on holiday.
Just a few years later in December 2008, she secured the role of Sian Powers and joined the cobbles. Her first appearance in Weatherfield was in January 2009, as a friend of Sophie Webster, played by actress Brooke Vincent. In true soap style, her last episode was certainly dramatic as her character who was due to marry Sophie, called off the wedding after discovering she had been unfaithful. The last scene was aired on December 30, 2011, as Sian left the cobbles heartbroken over Sophie's betrayal.
They were both donning black swimsuits with a beverage in hand. Before this, she took a sweet snap of her adorable pooch sitting underneath a Great Britain flag in celebration of the King's Coronation.
