Fans had been keen to see him take on bushtucker trials
A Coronation Street star is out of I’m A Celebrity and will also be taking a break from the soap following a major operation. Alan Halsall, who has played Tyrone Dobbs for more than twenty years, is currently recovering from a major knee operation.
The surgery is said to have gone “really well.” It is thought that the 41 year old injured his knee during exercise, and could be recovering for up to a year from the surgery reports The Daily Record. Following the surgery, Alan took to Instagram to share an update with his followers. In a photo he could be seen smiling for the camera with his thumbs up and his leg strapped up.
“I know I have a long 9-12 months of rehabilitation ahead of me but I’m sure with the support of family and friends I’ll get there.“
