Victoria has recorded 37 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths today, its lowest case count since June 26 when the state had just 30 cases. Meanwhile, NSW recorded 10 new cases yesterday, including four linked to known clusters. Follow our live coverage:

NSW residents can use the Service NSW mobile phone app to check into venues across the state, under changes aimed at making it easier to trace possible contacts of COVID-19 cases.

“The check-in automatically captures the date, time and location, and securely stores them on a NSW government database for the sole purpose of contact tracing.
