Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews will appear before the official inquiry into the state's ill-fated hotel quarantine program to answer questions about its failures.
The big news out of Victoria today was that the government wouldSome more detail is now available. The man arrived in Perth on August 17 and was ordered to self quarantine at a Beechboro property. On August 23, Breach Investigation Team officers attended the address and the man was not there. The man was then stopped by police doing a routine traffic patrol in Midland on August 27 when they found the 37-year-old driving a vehicle, again in breach of his quarantine direction.He was arrested and taken to the Perth Watch House before appearing by video link at Midland Magistrate Court the next day. He was remanded in custody until September 11.
